2027: Louis Ndukwe Spits Fire, Assures Victor Ochei of Total Defeat at the Delta North Senatorial Polls

Visibly irked by the strident, unwarranted diatribe on the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta North Senatorial District Candidate and former Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, by loyalists of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Candidate for Delta North, two-term Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Council, Hon. Louis Ogugua Ndukwe, Esq., has assured the former DTHA Speaker of a resounding defeat at the 2027 polls.

According to the Oshimili North All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain and Presidential Nominee on the Board of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, his assertion is premised on the incontrovertible clarion call by all well-meaning Anioma stakeholders for former Governor, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, to be their face at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, come 2027.

The former Oshimili North Executive Chairman further reminded Rt. Hon. Ochei that Senator Okowa's mentorship to hundreds of Anioma sons and daughters, which include him (Ochei), is a further fillip and manifest justification for that clarion call, which metamorphosed during Okowa's landslide victory at the recent APC Senatorial primaries.

In veiled reference to the incessant media malignment on the person of the former Delta State Governor by pro-Ochei loyalists, Hon. Ndukwe, Esq., said such actions portrayed the political naivety of the NDC Senatorial Candidate and his hangers-on.

Taking Ochei down memory lane, the Fiscal Responsibility Commission Board Member Presidential nominee stated: "I want to remind him (Ochei) of his 2015 sojourn to Accord Party, where he boastfully said a lot about late Senator Nwaoboshi, and how he (Ochei) would ensure Nwaoboshi wouldn't get the Senate seat for Delta North.

I warned him personally of the folly of his boasts, based on the capacity of the support base of the late 'Oracle' of politics, but he wouldn't heed my advice. Aniocha North Council Chairman, Hon. Emma Chinye, is my witness as to how he failed woefully in that enterprise. I thought that outing ought to have taught Ochei some political 'ABC', but alas, it has not."

Ndukwe further lamented that with the relentless, unwarranted media "insolence" on Senator Dr. Okowa by Ochei's hirelings, it is crystal clear, as a matter of common sense and logic, that the NDC Senatorial Candidate has no developmental card to place before Anioma people, hence his resort to diatribe and not issue-based politics against the former Governor and clear choice of Anioma people, come the forthcoming polls.

He therefore reiterated his earlier position that the former Speaker will be roundly defeated, with not even one Delta North local government to his kitty, at the 2027 polls, since defeating Okowa would mean defeating the entire Delta Northerners who made the clarion call for him (Okowa) to step forward as their choice for Senate.
