You Won't Return To The Senate, Come 2027, Ndukwe Blasts Senator Ned Nwoko

A one-time Executive Chairman of Oshimili North local government Council, Hon Louis Ogugua Ndukwe , has stated that the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial district in the Senate, Senator Ned Nwoko , may not return to the Red Chambers , come the 2027 general elections

Ndukwe premised his assertion on alleged non deliverables of tangible democratic dividends by Senator Nwoko , as well as the senator's alleged self-motivated desire to push for an Anioma state , that was not only to be made part of the South East geopolitical region, but does not enjoy the support of major stakeholders and ethnic regions of Anioma

The former Oshimili North Council Boss , in a press statement titled "Ned Nwoko will not return to the Senate", also took a swipe at Nwoko , over what he termed "dragging Anioma's hard earned reputation in the mud", as a result of his marital issues with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, a scandal which has gone viral on the social media space and become an object of discussion among all strata of society .

According to Ndukwe , such embarrassing social media publicity is unbecoming of a high ranking elected Senator representing Delta North senatorial district and a great embarrassment to the highly sophisticated and morally upright people of the district

Reeling out names of accomplished Anioma sons and daughters such as late Premier of Midwest , Chief Dennis Osadebay , late Senator Nosike lkpo, the late Asagba of Asaba, Obi ( Prof) Chike Edozien, the current Asagba , Obi Prof Epiphany Azinge , SAN, OON, Desert storm warrior and boardroom Czar, Chief Newton Jibunoh, Jim Ovia and Tony Elumelu in the banking sector ,Jim Ovia and Tony Elumelu in the banking sector, World Trade Organization MD and former finance Minister Ngozi Okonji Iweala, former Governor Senator lfeanyi Okowa, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi , Rain oil MD Ogbeche , former Deputy Governor Chief Benjamin Elue as well as the recently retired Army Generals Fejokwu and Ochei , and countless sons and daughters of the region who have excelled in their chosen fields of human endeavour without any blemish and negative controversy , wondered why the Senator representing these highly polished and egalitarian persons , would be the one 

always in the news "for the wrong reasons"

Said Ndukwe: "Delta North Senatorial district is an assemblage of persons with panache and self respect , person's of royalty and comportment . Each day on the social media space , one is embarrassed by the odium spewing out on account of the marital activities of our senatorial representative . There is practically no Anioma son or daughter worth their ancestry who is not feeling shamed at the indignity of these social media posts. It's unheard of , something we are not known for . From the uncouth and ludicrous manner in which the Anioma state creation was laughably carried out to bamboozle the feeble minded , coupled with the zero performance in representation for the past two years and counting , Delta North senatorial district has been brought to its lowest ebb among the comity of senatorial districts in the country. We had the likes of late Senator Osakwe , Senator Dr lfeanyi Okowa and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi representing Anioma with class and without controversy and negative publicity , attracting people oriented democratic dividends both in infrastructure , manpower and development . We have never fallen this low and God forbid we allow this to happen to us again in 2027"
