Warri, Delta State — Mrs. Nneka Okoye, the proprietor of the renowned Madonna Model School, Warri, is today , Saturday August 29, 2026, celebrating her birthday as former students, staff, colleagues, and well-wishers across the state join in honouring a woman whose decades of service to education have shaped generations of professionals in medicine, law, engineering, and business.

The celebration, which is drawing tributes from far and near, comes as a fitting tribute to a woman many describe as a mother, mentor, and philanthropist rolled into one.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026.
