Siloko Commends Udu Council Chairman Oyibode on Two Years in Office

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udu Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Evang. David Siloko, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, on the occasion of his second anniversary in office.

Evang. Siloko disclosed this in a statement issued by the Udu APC Publicity Secretary, Mr. Vincent Omoko, while describing the local government chairman's administration as one marked by remarkable developmental achievements and inclusive leadership that have positively impacted the people of Udu.

According to the statement, "the Udu Council Chairman's performance over the past two years reflects a strong commitment to grassroots development and aligns with the M.O.R.E. Agenda of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori."

The party also highlighted major achievements recorded under Oyibode's administration, including the transformation of the Udu Council Secretariat through extensive construction and renovation projects aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and creating a more functional working environment.

Evang. Siloko commended the Council Chairman's efforts in promoting peace and unity across the kingdom, noting that his interventions in traditional and community-related disputes have earned him the reputation of "The Unifier."

Siloko further acknowledged that the leadership of Oyibode's administration has contributed to the health and education sectors through improved access to primary healthcare services and the promotion of adult literacy programmes in rural communities.

On economic development, he hinted that the council boss has implemented skill acquisition initiatives and empowerment programmes, including financial support for youths and women to boost entrepreneurship and improve livelihoods.

He said, "The council chairman's leadership is visionary and people-oriented," and expressed confidence in his ability to sustain the pace of development in the local government.
