Rumoured Removal of ldjerhe Monarch: Matter before the Supreme court, Sub-judice, Cautions ldjerhe Traditional Council

The Idjerhe Kingdom Traditional Rulers Council in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State , has described as "laughable but totally VEXACIOUS", rumours making the rounds in the kingdom by uninformed elements , that His Royal Majesty the Ovie of ldjerhe kingdom , Monday Obukohwo Whiskey, JP, PhD, Udurhie 1, has been removed as monarch.

The Traditional Council wondered how a matter that is yet to be determined by the Supreme Court , and by implication , "Sub-judice", could be upturned and flagrantly misconstrued by "enemies of ldjerhe" kingdom , as of now import .

Briefing newsmen in Jesse ( Idjerhe) while presenting the Appeal filed at the Supreme Court by the ldjerhe Monarch , the Crown Otota ( Traditional Spokesman ) of ldjerhe Kingdom , Chief Uzzi James Onosia Obriki, said it is laughable and highly unintelligent for anyone to even reason that a matter which is before the highest court of the land abd has not been ruled on , is of no importance .

Presenting the Supreme Court document with file number SC/CV/968/2022, to buttress his claim that His Royal Majesty king Obukohwo Monday A. Whiskey , JP, PhD , Udurhie 1, the Ovie of the great ldjerhe kingdom.and Chairman Host Communities of Nigeria ( HOSCON) Traditional Rulers abd Elders Advisory Council, duly appealed the Appeal Court judgement as "APPELANT/APPLICANT", the ldjerhe Crown Otota, noted that such falsehood is capable of heightening tensions and causing a breach of the peace in the kingdom .

He warned those formenting falsehood to retrace their steps and desist from their unholy act of stoking the embers of unrest in ldjerhe kingdom, adding that the perpetrators will face the full sanction of the community once fished out.

The Idjerhe kingdom Crown Otota ( Traditional Spokesman ) , Chief Uzzi James Onosia Obriki, therefore urged all sons and daughters of the kingdom to remain peaceful and law abiding , noting that the stool of the great ldjerhe kingdom is "not vacant ", as His Royal Majesty , Udurhie 1, the Ovie , Monday Obukohwo Whiskey , who was duly recognized by the Delta State government , by presenting him with a staff of office, remains the Traditional Ruler of ldjerhe kingdom .
