Delta Assembly Speaker Guwor Celebrates James Manager at 66, Hails Legislative Legacy

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated Senator James Manager, PhD, on the occasion of his 66th birthday anniversary.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Rt. Hon. Guwor described Senator Manager as “an institution of legislative excellence and a pillar of Delta politics”.

The Speaker noted that Senator Manager’s 20 years of service in the National Assembly from 2003 to 2023 stands as one of the most enduring in Delta and Nigerian legislative history.

“Senator Manager’s tenure in the Senate was defined by consistency, deep institutional knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of Delta State and the Niger Delta region”, he said.

Rt. Hon. Guwor, who is the Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, said the former Senator’s contributions to laws, constituency projects, and political mentorship have continued to shape governance in Nigeria.

“As you mark this day, I pray that the Almighty God grants you sound health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful leadership to Delta, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria.

“Happy Birthday, Distinguished Senator. Your legacy of legislative excellence will continue to inspire present and future generations,” Rt. Hon. Guwor added.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation
