Andaye pledges Progressives LGA Chairmen Forum's input in APC's resounding electoral victory

Ahead of the 2027 general elections , Deputy National Chairman ( South) , of the Progressives Local Government Council Chairmen Forum of Nigeria, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , has assured of the Forum's resounding input in the anticipated resounding victory of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), during the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

In the same vein , Hon Andaye , also the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council in Delta State , emphasized the continued mobilization at the grassroots, of the Progressives Council Chairman in Nigeria , for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's resounding victory , alongside the party's State Governors as well as all candidates of the party .

He gave the assurance on Wednesday July 29, 2026, when he joined the National Chairman of the Forum and Council Boss of Minna Local Government of Niger State , Dr Mustapha Jibrin Alheri , alongside other Progressives Council Chairmen, on a courtesy visit to the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yiwaltda Goshwe, and members of the National Working Committee ( NWC), at the party's National Secretariat in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT).

While appreciating the APC National Chairman for his visionary leadership and passionate commitment to strengthening the party since assumption of office , the Deputy National Chairman of the Progressives Council Chairmen Forum of Nigeria, expressed profound appreciation, to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his administration's bold reforms and people oriented policies being implemented under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Forum under the leadership of Dr Alheri, noted that the Tinubu administration's transformative initiatives, are laying a solid foundation for sustainable national development , just as they pledged to complement the President's efforts by delivering impactful governance at the grassroots level .

Responding, an elated Prof Yilwatda Goshwe , commended the Progressives Local Government Chairmen Forum of Nigeria for its unity , dedication, and commitment to the party's growth .

The APC National Chairman charged the Council Chairmen under the Forum , to remain steadfast in taking the Renewed Hope message to every community, stressing that local governments remain the closest tier of government to the people, thus playing a critical role in translating the party's vision into tangible benefits for the masses.

Observers enthuse that while the visit further underscores the strategic role of local government leadership in strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 polls, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye's emergence as the Forum's Deputy National Chairman ( South), is yet another testament to his outstanding leadership and exceptional performance in public office .

The highpoint of the courtesy visit was the formal appointment and investiture of the APC National Chairman , as a Grand Patron of the Progressives Local Government Chairmen Forum of Nigeria

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation
