Ighrakpata Facilities Oborewvori at 63,Hails MORE Agenda Impact

The Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Hon (Chief) Solomon Ighrakpata and Associates have joined thousands of Deltans to celebrate the 63rd birthday anniversary of the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori,

Ighrakpata described the celebrant leadership style as one that has restored hope and delivered tangible development across Delta State.

In a congratulatory message signed on behalf of the family and associates, the former Lawmaker who represented Uvwie Constituency, said the governor’s commitment to infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment has impacted positively on lives in all 25 local government areas of the state.

Hon Ighrakpata noted that since Governor Oborevwori assumed office on May 29, 2023, his administration’s MORE Agenda has become a blueprint for inclusive growth, with projects and policies reaching both urban centers and rural communities.

He further praised the celebrant for his humility, resilience, and unwavering dedication to public service, noting that those qualities have made him an inspiration not only to political leaders but also to families and youths across the state.

“As you mark this milestone at 63, we celebrate your humility, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the service of Deltans. You remain an inspiration to leaders and families across the state,” Hon Ighrakpata stated.

The IRS Boss prayed God Almighty to grant the governor divine wisdom, sound health, strength, and many more years of fruitful service to Delta State and humanity.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
