Gov Oborevwori at 63: Oma Adasen Extols Governor's Exemplary Leadership

The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, Barr Jennifer Oma Adasen, PhD , has extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , describing it as "exemplary and foresight driven".

Barr Oma Adasen, a former Commissioner for Science and Technology in the state , remarked that the Governor's three years in office and still counting, has witnessed unprecedented and tangible massive infrastructural development and human capital highpoints , across the lenght and breath of the three senatorial districts and 25 local government areas of the state .

In her congratulatory message to mark Governor Oborevwori's 63rd birth anniversary on Friday June 19, 2026, the Executive Assistant on Political Matters , emphasized that Oborevwori's inclusive governance approach and Godly disposition towards running the affairs of state , have in no small measure , led to the monumental strides in virtually every facet of the state's trajectory .

Describing the Governor as a remarkable leader , a man of humility and unwavering commitment to the development of Delta State , Dr Jennifer Oma Adasen, Esq, added that his dedication to service , exemplary leadership and passion for the welfare of Deltans , is a source of inspiration to all and sundry .

She noted also that through purposeful governance , the Governor has brought hope , progress , and renewed confidence in a Delta of their dreams , to the people.

Said the Governor's Aide on Political Matters: "As you mark another glorious year today, your Excellency , l pray that Almighty God grants you excellent health , greater wisdom , divine protection, and many more fruitful years in service to humanity . DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
