APC Primaries: Andaye dedicates success of the exercise in Bomadi to God

To appreciate God for His grace , protection and peaceful conduct of the just concluded All Progressives Congress ( APC) primaries, the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , on Tuesday June 2, 2026, led principal officers of the Council, party stalwarts and stakeholders in the area , to a special Thanksgiving service.

Speaking during the service which held at the Ultra modern Council Chapel within the Bomadi local government secretariat , Hon Andaye dedicated the party primaries for the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Delta South Senate, Governorship and Presidential positions, to God.
The Bomadi Council Boss acknowledged God's divine intervention in ensuring a peaceful and successful exercise across the local government area, noting that the smooth conduct of the primaries was a clear demonstration of God's faithfulness as well as the collective commitment of party members to peace and progress.

Hon Andaye expressed profound appreciation that , throughout the entire primary election process, no life was lost and no major incident was recorded.

According to him , the peaceful disposition , maturity, and compassion exhibited by stakeholders and party supporters, contributed significantly to the success achieved during the primaries.
While describing the just concluded party primaries as "smooth, peaceful and historic", the Council Boss stated that the process further strengthened democratic participation within the party , thus reinforcing the confidence of members in its leadership and internal democratic system.

He therefore commended party leaders , aspirants and supporters , for placing the unity and collective interest of the party , above personal ambitions.

The Thanksgiving service which was attended by the Secretary to the Local Government ( SLG), Hon Tony Boubai Enai, political appointees, Heads of departments , party faithful and other guests who gathered in an atmosphere of gratitude , concluded with special prayers for continued peace , unity and development in Bomadi local government area, as well as divine wisdom and guidance for leaders and stakeholders at all levels , and success of its candidates in the 2027 general elections.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation
