Andaye Presents Four Brand New Vehicles to Key Council Officials

Chairman Engages Security Agencies, Assures Justice for Miss Happiness Be-Well

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, today, Monday, 22nd June 2026, presented four (4) brand new vehicles to enhance the operational efficiency of key offices within the council.

The vehicles comprise a Toyota Hiace Bus for the office of the chairman and utility vehicles for the offices of the secretary to the local government (SLG), head of personnel management (HPM), and treasurer to the local government (TLG).

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the chairman noted that the acquisition forms part of his administration’s deliberate efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and improve the effectiveness of governance at the grassroots level.

He emphasized that the strategic investment underscores the administration’s unwavering commitment to operational efficiency, public accountability, and the delivery of quality services to the people of Bomadi Local Government Area.

Following the presentation and handover of the vehicle keys, Hon. Andaye proceeded to pay a condolence visit to the family of Miss Happiness Be-Well following her tragic demise, where he conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and concerned residents.

chairman reassured the family and the public that he has engaged the police and other relevant security agencies to ensure a comprehensive investigation into the incident and the swift apprehension of all persons connected to the matter.

While appealing for calm and restraint, Hon. Andaye reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the rule of law and assured residents that justice would be pursued diligently, transparently, and allowed to take its full course.
