RE: REJECTING THE POLITICS OF BLACKMAIL, FALSE ACCUSATIONS, AND DESPERATE ATTEMPTS TO SILENCE THE PEOPLE OF BOMADI/PATANI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY (NICHOLAS MUTU AND THE LAST KICK OF A DYING HORSE)

Your Excellency, sir, we write with utmost respect to firmly reject and disregard the misleading publication authored by a group masquerading as “Concerned Citizens of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency for Good Governance,” wherein they falsely accused the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye, and a respected business mogul and leader, High Chief Victor Wayles of sponsoring protests against Rt. Hon. Nicholas Ebomo Mutu.

The allegations contained in the said publication are completely false, politically motivated, and carefully designed to divert public attention from the obvious reality confronting the constituency today, the growing dissatisfaction among the people over a representation that has lasted since 1999 without the expected transformational impact across Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency.

The continuous protests, consultations, and agitations being witnessed across the constituency are spontaneous expressions of frustration by citizens who believe the time has come for a paradigm shift in leadership and representation. Attempting to reduce the genuine anger and democratic expressions of the people to sponsored activities only exposes the desperation of those who now see every opposing voice as a threat to their political dominance.

Your Excellency, it is unfortunate and highly irresponsible that respected personalities like High Chief Wayles, a renowned businessman, philanthropist, employer of labour, and respected leader across the constituency, are being dragged into unnecessary political propaganda simply because certain individuals have become uncomfortable with the changing political mood of the people.

Chief Wayles has built his reputation over the years through enterprise, community support, and peaceful engagement with people across political divides, and it is therefore unacceptable for his name to be recklessly associated with imaginary plots and unfounded allegations in a bid to score cheap political points.

In the same vein, Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye remains focused on governance and service delivery to the people of Bomadi Local Government Area and has never obstructed the constitutional rights of any aspirant seeking elective office. Democracy guarantees freedom of association, freedom of expression, and the right of citizens to demand better representation without intimidation, harassment, or blackmail.

The people of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency are politically conscious enough to decide the direction they desire without being sponsored or manipulated by anyone.

We therefore respectfully call on the authors of the said publication to desist, as a matter of urgency, from dragging the names of respected leaders like Chief Wayles and the Bomadi Council Chairman into their politics of self-centeredness, desperation, and fear-driven propaganda. Resorting to blackmail and emotional manipulation can not erase the obvious truth that many citizens across the constituency are demanding inclusiveness, fresh ideas, accessibility, and a new era of purposeful representation.

We remain confident in Your Excellency’s wisdom, fairness, and unwavering commitment to justice, democratic principles, and peaceful political coexistence within our great party. We trust that under your leadership, every qualified aspirant and every citizen of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency will continue to enjoy the constitutional right to participate freely in the democratic process without intimidation or attempts to suppress the legitimate voice of the people.
