Hon. Mabel Ebele Magbulu, from Amai Ward 6 in Ukwuani local government area, has emerged the African Democratic Congress ( ADC) consensus candidate for the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency House of Representatives elections in 2027.
The consensus candidate pledged, to the hearing of the party leaders, elders, and stakeholders from the 30 political wards of the federal constituency , to “rewrite the story of Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency with quality leadership, visible development, and effective representation.”
Hon. Mabel Magbulu noted that the journey to representing the people of the federal constituency was borne out of the dire need to uplift the region from gross underdevelopment and systemic neglect, which has left the people of the area alienated and economically emasculated for decades, in spite of the obvious natural resources and human capital abounding in Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency.
She pledged to step up representations , if voted into office, on the vexatious issue of power neglect in Ndokwa land, reinvigorate youth employment opportunities, and drive inclusive regeneration of the area with people-centered bills and advocacy.
While thanking party stakeholders for finding her worthy to be their standard bearer, Magbulu urged Ndokwa sons and daughters to join the African Democratic Congress, describing it as a platform that represents hope, progress, accountability, and a better future for them.
Said the ADC Ndokwa/Ukwuani standard-bearer, “This victory is not just mine. It belongs to every supporter, every believer, every youth, woman, elder, and progressive voice who has stood firmly with this vision from inception”.
She added that “the road to the green chamber is getting clearer, and together, we are building a movement that represents hope, quality representation, development, empowerment, and visible results for our people”.
The ADC primaries for the Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency were observed by designated officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as well as other relevant security agencies.
