Gov Oborevwori's Successful Screening by APC National Leadership, Testament to Sterling Performance, Affirms Andaye.

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council and Secretary Delta ALGON, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , has described the successful "take a bow" screening of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , by the All Progressives Congress ( APC) national leadership under the supervision of National Chairman , Professor Nentawe Yiwaltda, as a testament to his sterling performance in office.

Hon Andaye also said the Governor's successful screening , reflects the party's implicit vote of confidence on his scorecard and tangible achievements dotted across the three senatorial districts of the State.

The Bomadi Council Boss , in a statement in Bomadi , Saturday May 9th, 2026, stated that the commendation from the national party leadership to Governor Oborevwori "for meeting all constitutional and party requirements to contest in the forthcoming party primary election", further buttresses the unanimous fact that there is no contender with the Governor for the party ticket .

Andaye noted that Governor Oborevwori's track record of inclusive governance which has earned him legion recognition by reputable national media houses , has been validated by the the less than five minutes screening which culminated in his being asked to "take a bow and go".

While calling on all Deltans irrespective of party or social and religious affiliation, to queue behind Governor Oborevwori for his inevitable second term in office , come the 2027 general elections , the Bomadi Council Chairman also charged them to support President Bola Tinubu's reelection.

Hon Andaye while stating that the massive infrastructural development currently being witnessed in the State has earned the Governor the support of even his fiercest critics , said the only natural thing to do for Deltans is to repay the Governor Oborevwori's unique leadership style by ensuring that his second term in office is seamless and unchallenged.

Said Andaye : "On behalf of my family , the government and peace loving people of Bomadi Local Government Area, l proudly congratulate my leader , father and mentor, His Excellency the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on his successful record breaking "take a bow and go" screening at the APC national headquarters , Abuja, under the supervision of our party's national Chairman , Professor Nentawe Yiwaltda. We are not surprised at this turn of events because the facts of Governor Oborevwori's sterling performance in office, speaks for itself in infrastructure, heath care delivery, education, youth and widows empowerment, peace and security, inclusive governance , just name it. His prudent application of resources such that he has not borrowed a dime to fund projects since he became Governor in 2023, clearly validates the successful screening. We can only urgent all Deltans to ensure his reelection is seamless and unchallenged, while also extending sane to our President , Bola Tinubu , GCFR. Congratulations your Excellency.
