An All Progressives Congress ( APC) Stalwart from Bomadi local government area, Chief Franklin Edonkumoh, has appealed to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, to urgently wade into the lopsidedness surrounding the occupation of the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency by one single individual since 1999 till date.

Citing "equity , inclusion, and the rightful expectation of rotational representation" which has been denied the people of Patani local government area to represent the Federal Constituency since the advent of democracy in 1999, Chief Edonkumoh appealed to Governor Oborevwori to harken to the cry for inclusiveness for the people of Patani ahead of the race to represent the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in 2027.

In his appeal via a passionate letter titled "OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY, RT HON SHERIFF O.F OBOREVWORI, GOVERNOR OF DELTA STATE OF NIGERIA", the Kpakiama born Bomadi APC Chieftain said that as a leader who believes deeply in justice, fairness, and the long term stability of the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, he is strongly in support of the principle of equity , inclusion and support for Patani local government, to produce the next Federal Representative , come 2027.
