We joyfully announce the emergence of Rt. Honourable Basil Okolobaowei Ganagana as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Bomadi/Patani Federal House of Representatives election ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This historic victory marks the triumph of fairness, democratic inclusion, leadership renewal, and the collective will of the people of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency.

We sincerely appreciate and thank His Excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State for his statesmanship and commitment to fairness and political stability. We also deeply acknowledge the immense sacrifices, unwavering support, and strategic leadership of High Chief (Dr.) Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, whose commitment to justice and equitable representation remained steadfast throughout the struggle.

Special appreciation also goes to Senator James Manager, the good people of Bomadi Local Government Area, Patani stakeholders, party leaders, elders, youths, women, and all supporters who stood firmly for democratic expansion and peaceful political transition.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
