Oseme Mourns B.S.C Elue, Describes Him As A Man Of Impeccable Character And Integrity

Former Aniocha North Local Government Council Chairman, Hon Chuks Oseme, has described the departed former Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Benjamin Elue, as a man of impeccable character, sterling integrity, as well as apostle of politics without bitterness.
Hon Oseme said Aniocha North in particular, and Delta State in general, has lost a rare breed politician whose legacies of humility, loyalty and human capital development, will continue to inspire generations to come.
In his condolence message to the Elue family , the people of Aniocha North , and the Delta State government , the former Aniocha North Council Boss , said the news of His Excellency Chief Benjamin Elue's passage at age 85, met him in a very profound way, bringing nostalgic memories of the former Deputy Governor's wise counsel and fatherly guidance during his stint as Council Chairman.
Describing Chief B S.C Elue as a pillar of stability amply demonstrated by his calm disposition and unwavering commitment to purposeful governance while serving as Deputy Governor under Chief James Ibori from 1999 to 2007, Hon Oseme emphasized that Elue played a strategic and steadying role during a crucial period in Delta State's democratic evolution.
Hon Oseme recalled with nostalgia , the invaluable admonition and encouragement given to him by Chief Elue during his term of office , saying his wise counsel, guidance and profound wisdom , greatly helped steady his administration as Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Council.
Said Oseme :"On behalf of my family and political associates , l commiserate with the Elue family of Obior, the people of Aniocha North , and His Excellency the Governor , Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , on the passage of Chief Benjamin Elue , the former Deputy Governor of the state , under His Excellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori . Chief Elue was a father to all , especially me, rendering moral support to me as Aniocha North Council Chairman where his son , Udoka , served as my Vice Chairman. I commiserate with Governor Oborevwori , the government and people of Delta State , over this loss of a patriarch and symbol of humility and service , who served his state diligently for eight years as Deputy Governor.
The former Aniocha North Chairman prayed God to grant the soul of Chief B S.C Elue , profound rest, while urging politicians in the state, to borrow a leaf from the departed Deputy Governor's life of service.
