Gov Oborevwori to inaugurate 31km Ohoror-Bomadi road, as Andaye commends Governor on intervention

All is now set for the inauguration of the rehabilitated 31km Ohoror-Bomadi Road , by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , on Tuesday March 17, 2026.

The road , long being in deplorable condition , thus posing serious discomfort for motorists and commuters playing the road , is now wearing a new look , ahead of it's commissioning by Governor Oborevwori.

In a statement , Bomadi Council Chairman , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , said the rehabilitation of the very strategic road linking communities in Patani Ughelli South , and Bomadi local government areas , will greatly boost connectivity and ease the movement of agricultural products from the rural to urban areas ,thus boosting socio-economic activities .

According to Hon Andaye , Governor Oborevwori has once again proven that he has the interest of all Deltans , whether in the riverine or urban areas, at heart , as amply demonstrated by the rehabilitation and completion of "this all strategic corridor ".

Said the Bomadi Council Boss: "The government and peace loving people of Bomadi , most joyfully welcome our performing Governor , His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , to the inauguration of the 31kilometer Ohoror-Bomadi road which was in a total deplorable state over the years , but has now been fully rehabilitated. Indeed our Governor is a promise keeper and we can't thank him enough for this mighty relief he has given our people by the completion of this strategic project. God bless you our dear Governor ".

With the completion and inauguration of the Ohoror-Bomadi road project by Gov Oborevwori, the stage is set for increased socio-economic activities along the Bomadi local government axis , further strengthening the economic potentials of the people .

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation
