Arenyeka's Vast Political Experience Will Reposition Delta APC for Greater Electoral Success, Says Ogbimi

Chairman of the Board of Management, Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Limited, Hon. ( Dr.) Jude Omena Ogbimi, has expressed confidence that the emergence of Chief Solomon Arenyeka as Delta All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus chairman will strengthen the party's structure and reposition it for greater electoral success, particularly the reelection of President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori  come 2027.

Ogbimi, a former lawmaker representing Isoko South constituency, also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for providing an enabling environment that led to the peaceful conduct of the state congress, describing it as a reflection of leadership that prioritizes peace, dialogue, and political stability.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the exercise at the Cenotaph, Asaba, Dr. Ogbimi commended party stakeholders and delegates for being part of the process, which he termed "a hitch-free and transparent exercise.

He added that the new leadership, led by Chief Arenyeka, assumes office at a critical period when the party requires internal cohesion, reconciliation, and renewed grassroots mobilization across the state.

Hon. Ogbimi called on party leaders, stakeholders, and members to rally round the newly elected Chief Solomon Arenyeka-led Executives , and work collectively to promote the Renewed Hope Agen codeda and MORE agenda of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori , with a view to securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

The Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Chairman therefore appealed to the newly elected Delta APC Executive Committee  to embrace inclusive leadership, foster unity within the party, and remain committed to advancing the ideals and democratic principles of the party in the state  and Nigeria in general.
