We are closer than ever to the actualisation of Anioma State - Senator Prince Ned Nwoko

The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial district, Senator Ned Nwoko, has declared that the long-standing agitation for the creation of Anioma State has reached its most promising stage

Senator Ned Nwoko made this known during his visit to the palace of Obuzpr of Ibusa, HRM Obi Prof. Louis Nwaoboshi in Ibusa.

 He said the dream has never been closer to reality than it is now.

The lawmaker expressed optimism that sustained advocacy with the Senate has helped in the ease process of the state creation.

The senator called on Anioma sons and daughters to remain united and committed to the course of the Anioma State.

On his part, the Obuzor of Ibusa, HRM Obi Prof. Louis Nwaoboshi expressed delight over the effort made by the illustrious son of Ugboko in taking up the struggle for the creation of Anioma State.
“I urge you to continue on the course which has been on for a long time” he said.
He assured the Senator of his support in the creation of the state capital of Anioma State in Asaba.
“With the number of local governments we have, we are entitled to have our own state”.
“I want you to emphasize the injustice done to our people. We have so many natural resources, hence the need for Anioma State to be created”.
