TRAFFIC ALERT! Traffic Congestion Expected On Airport Road, Effurun This Monday!

Motorists plying the Mosheshe Estate axis of the Airport Road in Effurun, Uvwie local government area of Delta State, are advised to plan ahead as heavy traffic congestion is expected on Monday, 2nd February 2026, between 10am and 10pm.

The expected congestion is due to an event scheduled to hold at the Mosheshe Estate on that day.

Motorists and commuters are advised to consider alternative routes.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
