Ighrakpata Hails High Chief Egukawhore on Diamond Jubilee Anniversary

The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, has extended a heartwarming congratulatory message to the Chairman of De Wayles Group of Companies, High Chief (Dr) Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore JP, FCILG, as he celebrates his 60th birthday today.

In a statement, Hon Ighrakpata described High Chief Egukawhore as an extraordinary personality whose influence and character have made him an integral part of societal development and social change. 

The former Lawmaker expressed his honour in joining millions of people to celebrate the Diamond jubilee milestone with the oil magnate and business icon, noting that the celebrant's legacies will continue to inspire others.

"I join the global community to felicitate with you on your Diamond Jubilee celebration. At sixty, your dedication to excellence, philanthropy, and community development has made a lasting impact. 

"May this special day be filled with joy, love, and gratitude. May God bless you with many more years of success, good health, and happiness”, Ighrakpata stated.

The IRS Boss concluded, "Once again, congratulations as I wish you a wonderful and fulfilling years ahead."

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026.
