Doubra, Bomadi legislative leader, formally petitions State Assembly , disowns impeachment claims against Council Chairman

The authentic leadership of the Bomadi Local Government Legislative Arm , led by Hon Wurukeseiye Doubra, on Friday January 9, 2025, formally submitted a petition to the Delta State House of Assembly , reaffirming their status as the legitimate and duly recognized leadership off the Bomadi Legislature.

The petition explicitly declared that all purported impeachment letters and related actions against the Council Chairman, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, are "procedurally void", as they were carried out without following due legislative procedure.

According to the Hon Doubra led leadership in the petition signed by him and the Clerk of the House , Comr Clerke, any individuals claiming to have assumed control of the Legislative Arm of Bomadi local Government Council, lacks both constitutional and procedural backing.

The submission in the petition called on the Delta House of Assembly to officially disregard such claims , stating that attempts to alter the legitimate leadership , threatens the stability of governance and erodes public confidence in elected representatives.

The petition serves as both a formal notice to the state Assembly , and a public assertion of Hon Doubra's unbroken mandate .

By presenting the petition formally to the State legislature , Rt Hon Wurusekeiye Doubra and his colleagues have sent a clear message that leadership disputes must be resolved lawfully and transparently .
