2026: Hon. Martins Assures Constituents Of More Prosperity

Member Representing Warri North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Fred Martins, has assured his constituents of enhanced and quality representation in the New Year.

In his New Year message, Hon Martins expressed gratitude for their support and trust, reaffirming his commitment to people-focused legislation and advocacy. 

He promised to continue to prioritize development-driven policies for infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities.

Hon Martins emphasized collaboration with stakeholders, including traditional institutions, community leaders, women, and youths, for inclusive progress. 

He pledged sustained oversight of government projects for value delivery and timely completion.

The lawmaker wished families across Warri North a happy New Year, calling for unity, peace, and shared responsibility for growth. 

He expressed confidence that 2026 will bring tangible gains and prosperity to the constituency.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
