Residents Applaud Governor Oborevwori’s Urban Renewal Efforts

Warri — The Enerhen Flyover Bridge, one of the major infrastructural projects reshaping the Warri–Effurun corridor, has reached an impressive advanced stage of construction. A walk around the site on Tuesday showed intense activity as engineers and construction teams continued structural works, installations, and alignment of connecting lanes.

Massive concrete sections are already in place, with visible progress on the approach roads and retaining structures. The pace of work has further heightened the excitement of residents and commuters who say they “cannot wait” for the completion of the network of flyover bridges currently being built across Warri and Effurun.

Many traders, motorists, and community members commended the transformation taking place, describing the project as long overdue and essential for easing traffic congestion in the busy metropolis.

The infrastructural developments have also drawn praise for His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, whose administration embarked on the ambitious urban renewal initiative. Residents expressed gratitude for the governor’s commitment to modernizing the region’s road network and improving mobility.

As work continues at a steady pace, expectations remain high that the flyovers—once completed—will significantly enhance transportation, reduce travel delays, and open new economic opportunities across the Warri–Effurun axis.

God bless the governor, many residents added, as they look forward to the official commissioning of the landmark projects.
