In a statement released by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke confirmed that he officially communicated his resignation in a letter dated November 4, addressed to the chairman of Ward 2, Sagba Abogunde, in Ede North Local Government Area.
Adeleke explained that his decision to leave the party was driven by deepening internal conflicts at the national level, which he said had made continued membership untenable.
