Andaye Gives Thanks To God, Celebrates With The Omares And Yingis

Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, joined worshippers at the Life Christian Centre, aka “Outreach of Love,” Ughelli, for the end-of-year Thanksgiving service.

The Thanksgiving service, which served as an opportunity for the Bomadi Council Boss to express gratitude to God for His faithfulness , protection, and guidance throughout the year, featured prayers for continued peace, unity, and meaningful development across communities in Bomadi .

From the Life Christian Centre annual thanksgiving , Andaye joined former Commissioner Chief Frank Omare , at the Thanksgiving ceremony marking the successful induction of his daughter , Miss ( Dr) Kemeseimoukumor Frank-Omare, as a fully qualified medical doctor.

The Thanksgiving event served as a celebration of academic excellence , perseverance, and dedication to the noble medical profession , with Thanksgiving offered to God for the milestone achievement .

At the Jubilee Conference Centre, Warri, the Bomadi Executive Chairman , also joined the family , friends, and prominent Ijaw leaders to celebrate the 60th birthday anniversary of High Chief (Mrs) Lynda Yingi, highlighting a diamond epoch marked by service, leadership, and enduring positive impact within society.

Andaye's spirit of Thanksgiving and brotherhood with his kinsmen, reflects a shared spirit of faith, achievement, and communal solidarity, reinforcing the importance of Thanksgiving, recognition of excellence, and honouring individuals whose lives continue to inspire unity and progress.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
