Andaye Bags Award Of Special Recognition From HMB Bomadi Zone

For his impact and dedication to Rural Health Care Development in Bomadi local government area, the Delta State Hospitals Management Board , Bomadi Medical Zone , has bestowed an Award of Special Recognition on the Executive Chairman of the local government, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye.

The latest award in the already brimming list of Andaye’s public service recognition by dint of his people centred style of governance, was presented on Wednesday December 17th 2025, by the Chief Medical Director (CMD), of the General Hospital , Bomadi, Dr Festus Enike , at the hospital premises in Bomadi.

Presenting the award, Dr Enike used the occasion to commend the award winning Bomadi Council Boss for the various medical interventions and innovations his administration has implemented in the Bomadi General hospital and indeed the primary health centres across the local government area.

The Chief Medical Director noted that the string of awards both within and outside Delta received by Hon Andaye, coupled with his incredible support for the health sector in the local government , especially through the elderly people's medical outreach and direct infrastructural upgrade of primary health centres in the riverine Bomadi, stood him out as deserving of this award of recognition which is intended to thank him for his empathy for the health of his people .

Receiving the award , an elated Bomadi Council Chairman, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , thanked the Bomadi Zone of the State Hospitals Management Board (HMB) , for finding him worthy to be recognized for his modest contributions to the health sector in the area

Represented by the Chief of Staff of the local government, Comr. Frank Ogodobri, Hon Andaye promised to redouble his efforts in 2026, to make the people of the area more accessible to health care facilities, noting that "health is wealth".

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation
