Erebe, Thank Delta Govt. For Support In Ensuring Justice For Common Man

Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Delta State, Omamuzo Ebere (SAN), has commended the Delta State Government for graciously supporting the justice ministry in ensuring that justice is brought to the common man.

The solicitor general disclosed this at the state secretariat while reacting to questions immediately after the ministry's inter-ministry budget presentation in Asaba.

Omamuzo,(SAN) revealed that justice has gone digital and the state cannot afford to remain behind, noting that the state Government has given the ministry a significant amount of support to ensure justice is brought to the common man.

According to him, "Like I pointed out at the budget defense, justice has gone digital. We cannot afford to remain behind. Happily, the state government has given us a great amount of support to ensure that justice is brought to the common man, and the laws of Delta states are free of charge."

He also noted that the ministry’s virtual court hearing system has already been implemented to ensure faster and smoother case management., saying there is no need for “If a person is guilty of an offense, justice should be delivered promptly.

On the ministry’s performance for the outgoing year, he said the ministry has made significant strides, particularly in the area of capacity building/training for staff of the ministry.
