NOA Launches AI Application

In an effort to strengthen civic engagement beyond the recently concluded Campus Debate, the National Orientation Agency NOA is to launch its Artificial Intelligence app, CLHEEAN.

NOA recently organised the 2025 National Campus Debate to promote critical thinking, leadership and national values among Nigerian youth in selected tertiary institutions. 

Speaking on the just concluded National Campus Debate, the Director General of the agency Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu said the application is already available on iOS and will soon be released on Android play store.

Malam Lanre Onilu explained that the app was designed as a real time feedback tool for citizens to access information on government activities, report challenges in their communities and connect with public institutions for solutions .

He encouraged young people to stay informed and engage with NOA through it's official website and social media platforms, imploring them to uphold integrity, discipline and patriotism in their studies and beyond.

The DG also cautioned youngsters against involvement in cultism, drug abuse and unwholesome graduation practices describing them as alien to the nation's culture and destructive to the society.

The Chairman organising committee of the debate Mr David Akoji said the contest was not only a platform for the promotion of civic values, but an avenue to promote leadership and national unity among Nigerian youth.

DOU to graduate 416 students, records 25 first class , set for maiden convocation

By Andy Emephia A total of 416 candidates drawn from 28 programmes in the Faculties of Agriculture , Arts , Behavioural Sciences, Computing , Environmental Sciences , Management Sciences and Sciences, will participate in the maiden convocation of the Dennis Osadebay University ( DOU) , Asaba , on Saturday 7th March , 2026. Of this number , 25 persons bagged First Class Honours , 167 Second Class Honours ( Upper Division), 185 Second Class Lower Division, and 39 Third Class Degrees, respectively  .
